Yasemin Karakasoglu

Yasemin Karakasoglu is an educational scientist. From 2004 onward, she taught intercultural education at the University of Bremen; in 2011, she became the university’s vice-rector for internationalisation and diversity. Her research has focused on migration-related diversity in schools and higher education, particularly teacher education, Islam in the context of schooling, and transcultural women’s studies, with a focus on Turkey.
