Wolfram Groddeck (born 1949) was a professor of rhetoric, criticism and textual scholarship at the University of Basel and a professor of modern German literature at the University of Zurich. From 1976 to 1979, he worked on the Frankfurter Hölderlin-Ausgabe and later co-edited the Critical Robert Walser Edition. He published essays on literary works from the 18th to the 20th century, as well as on Friedrich Nietzsche, Heinrich Heine, Franz Kafka, rhetoric and editorial theory. In 2017, he received the International Friedrich Nietzsche Prize.
