Wolfgang Slawski

Wolfgang Slawski was born in Neumünster in 1964. He studied illustration at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and was a co-founder of the illustrators’ collective “atelier 9.” As a freelance illustrator, he created artwork for early-reader books, picture books, schoolbooks, and other publications. His first picture book, “Die Besucher-Sucher,” was published in 1996 and received a plaque at the Biennial of Illustration Bratislava (BIB).
