Wolfgang Martynkewicz

Wolfgang Martynkewicz (born 1955) is a German author and literary scholar. He studied literary studies, psychology and sociology and holds a doctorate. His publications address nineteenth- and twentieth-century literature, the cultural history of the 1920s and the history of psychoanalysis. He has written monographs on Jane Austen, Edgar Allan Poe and Arno Schmidt. His major books include *Salon Deutschland. Geist und Macht 1900–1945*, *1920. Am Nullpunkt des Sinns* and *Das Café der trunkenen Philosophen. Wie Hannah Arendt, Adorno & Co. das Denken revolutionierten* (2022).
