Wolfgang Kleinert

Wolfgang Kleinert was born in East Berlin in 1953 and studied journalism in Leipzig. Until 1991, he worked as an editor for the satirical magazine Eulenspiegel. In 1992, he founded the Cartoonfabrik, with which he organized cartoon exhibitions. From 1993 onward, he served as managing director of the Köpenicker Cartoon Gesellschaft.
