Wolfgang Hecht

Wolfgang Hecht (1941–2012) was a physicist with a doctorate who also studied sociology, philosophy, and mathematics. Alongside his teaching work, he wrote short stories and essays. His works include the book “Der Tee, die Null und der Mond” (2011) and the novel “Die besseren Menschen.” He was also known as the author of recordings about steam locomotives and observed steam operation in the Harz region at close hand.
