Wolfgang Frey

Wolfgang Frey worked as an architect and led, in the second generation, an architectural practice in Bahlingen am Kaiserstuhl near Freiburg. Since 1959, the practice has realized numerous projects in Germany, France, and Switzerland. His work focused particularly on ecological and sustainable architecture and urban development. Projects designed according to the so-called Five-Finger Principle led the City of Freiburg to invite the practice to present its work at Expo 2010 in Shanghai.
