Wolfgang Brunner

Wolfgang Brunner was born in Freising in 1964 and grew up in Munich. After training as an office administrator, he managed an insurance branch in Rosenheim and later worked as the managing director of a long-distance travel agency before becoming a freelance writer. His debut novel was published in 2009, followed in 2010 by the first volume of a five-part series for young readers. Brunner published novels and short stories in genres including science fiction, fantasy, thrillers, and horror/mystery. His works include the philosophical romance novel “Der Schmetterlingsmann” (2012), which was adapted as a musical reading in 2015 in collaboration with the electronic band Pyramid Peak. Brunner was a member of the Freier Deutscher Autorenverband (FDA), the Association of German Writers.
