Wilfried Stroh

Wilfried Stroh, born in 1939, is a German classical philologist who was a full professor of Classical Philology at the University of Munich until 2005. His research focuses include rhetoric and eroticism in ancient literature. He also promoted Latin as a spoken and sung language, organizing theatrical performances, concerts, and talk shows in Latin. His book “Latein ist tot, es lebe Latein!” was published by List in 2007 and became a bestseller.
