Wilfried Hahn

Wilfried Hahn was born in 1950 and studied industrial engineering in Karlsruhe. In 1977, he joined Wiha Werkzeuge GmbH, the family company founded by his father, as managing director. Under his leadership, the company developed into an internationally active manufacturer of hand tools and mechanical tools with more than 1,000 employees worldwide. In 2021, Hahn moved into the role of Senior President, while management of Wiha Werkzeuge was taken over by his son. That same year, he was appointed to the supervisory board of Copenhagen Atomics. Hahn has also been involved in basketball: he was the main sponsor and namesake of the Wiha Panthers, now known as the Black Forest Panthers, and was a member of the German over-70 national basketball team, which finished as European runner-up in 2022.
