Vincent Delecroix

Vincent Delecroix (born 1969 in Paris) is a French philosopher and writer. He studied at the École Normale Supérieure and taught philosophy at the École Pratique des Hautes Études. In 2008, he received the Grand Prix de Littérature de l’Académie française for his novel »Tombeau d’Achille«. His novel »Schiffbruch« was nominated for the International Booker Prize in 2025. Delecroix was appointed a Chevalier of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and a Chevalier of the Ordre national du Mérite.
