Verena Boos

Verena Boos was born in Rottweil in 1977. She studied Anglo-American literature, sociology and cultural studies and earned a doctorate in contemporary and cultural history. From 2010 onward, she worked as a freelance author. Her debut novel, “Blutorangen,” was published in 2015 and received, among other distinctions, the Mara-Cassens Prize and the Buddenbrookhaus Prize. Her other works include the novel “Kirchberg.”
