Vera Schmidt

Vera Schmidt was born in Lisbon in 1974. After a brief period of art study in Munich, she studied communication design in Augsburg. She subsequently worked for six years as an art director at the Saatchi & Saatchi advertising agency in Frankfurt. From 2004 onward, she worked as a freelance illustrator. Her illustrations appeared in children’s books, textbooks, calendars, websites, and other media.
