Vera Buck

Vera Buck, born in 1986 in North Rhine-Westphalia, studied journalism, European literature and screenwriting in Germany, France, Spain, Italy and Hawaii. During her studies, she wrote for radio, television and magazines; she later published short stories in anthologies and literary journals. Her debut novel, “Runa,” was nominated for the Friedrich Glauser Prize. Her thriller “Wolfskinder” was also nominated for the prize. “Das Baumhaus” appeared on the bestseller list and was nominated for the Crime Cologne Award. Her other works include “Der dunkle Sommer.”
