Vendela Vida

Vendela Vida, born in 1971, is an award-winning American author. She has published six novels, including *Lovers* (2012) and *The Diver’s Clothes Lie Empty* (2016). Vida founded the literary magazine *The Believer* and was a founding member of 826 Valencia, a writing center for young people in San Francisco.
