Varujan Vosganian

Varujan Vosganian was born in Craiova, Romania, in 1958 and spent his childhood and youth in Focșani. From 2006 to 2008, he served as Romania’s minister of finance and economy, and from 2012 to 2013 as minister of trade and industry. As a writer, he published the novels Buch des Flüsterns (2013) and Das Spiel der hundert Blätter (2016), as well as the story collection Als die Welt ganz war (2018).
