Vanessa Blumhagen

Vanessa Blumhagen (born 1977) is a German journalist, author, and presenter. She worked as a print editor for publications including Hamburger Morgenpost, Frau im Spiegel, BILD Hamburg, and Revue, and commented on celebrity news for various television broadcasters. She later worked with WDR, RTL’s morning programs, and SAT.1’s breakfast television, and hosted events and film premieres. After being diagnosed with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis in her early thirties, she wrote about her experiences in the SPIEGEL bestsellers »Jeden Tag wurde ich dicker und müder« and »Die Hashimoto-Diät«. She also founded the organization »Hashimoto Deutschland«.
