Valter Longo

Valter Longo was born in Genoa in 1967. His scientific work focuses on aging and age-related diseases. His professional positions have included a professorship in gerontology and biological sciences and directorship of the Institute of Longevity at the School of Gerontology of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He also directed an oncology research laboratory at IFOM in Milan. Longo has received numerous awards for his work.
