Valerie Wilson Wesley

Valerie Wilson Wesley was born in 1947. She grew up on U.S. military bases in Spain and Germany, studied philosophy and journalism, and served as editor-in-chief of the magazine Essence. She is best known for her bestselling series featuring private investigator Tamara Hayle, which has been published in several countries.
