Uwe Heimowski

Uwe Heimowski (born 1964) is an educator and holds a degree in theology. From 2001 to 2016, he worked as a community pastor and minister at the Evangelical Free Church in Gera, while also teaching social ethics at the Gera Cooperative State University. He subsequently served as a human-rights adviser to Member of Parliament Frank Heinrich and, from 2016, as the German Evangelical Alliance’s representative to the Bundestag and the federal government. In May 2023, he became a member of the board of Tearfund Germany. Heimowski has published more than 30 books and is the father of five children.
