Uwe Friedrichsen

Uwe Friedrichsen (1934–2016) was a German stage, film and television actor, as well as an audiobook and dubbing artist. In the 1950s, he was a member of the Deutsches Schauspielhaus ensemble in Hamburg under Gustaf Gründgens and later worked at numerous theaters and in film, radio and television. As a dubbing artist, he provided the German voice of Peter Falk, including in the role of Columbo. He also performed in numerous radio plays. Friedrichsen received the German Federal Cross of Merit in 1994 for his artistic work. He died in his birthplace, Hamburg.
