Uwe Britten

Uwe Britten was born in Werl, Westphalia, in 1961. After completing his secondary-school qualification through a second-chance education program in 1983, he studied German literature and philosophy. He wrote several young adult novels and social studies and worked for many years as an editor, editorial staff member, and author in the fields of psychotherapy, psychiatry, and youth welfare. He also engaged intensively with the life and work of Honoré de Balzac.
