Ursula Lindau

Alongside her work in education, Ursula Lindau studied art history, with Christian archaeology and historical theology as subsidiary subjects. In 1997, she published her first book, *Max Ernst und die deutsche Romantik. Unendliches Spiel mit Witz und Ironie* (*Max Ernst and German Romanticism: Endless Play with Wit and Irony*). Exhibitions on Max Ernst’s reception of Romanticism were held in Bonn, Berlin, and Brussels in connection with the publication.
