Dr. Uma Naidoo worked as a psychiatrist and nutrition expert and trained as a chef. She led the Nutritional & Lifestyle Psychiatry division at Massachusetts General Hospital and the Department of Nutritional Psychiatry at the Massachusetts General Hospital Academy. She also ran a private practice in Newton and taught at the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts.
