Ulrike Mittmann (born 1961) studied Protestant theology. She earned her doctorate in 1995 and completed her habilitation in 2005. In 2008, she was appointed professor of New Testament and ancient religious history at Osnabrück University. In 2011, she was ordained as an honorary pastor by the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hanover.
