Ulrich Lilie

Ulrich Lilie (born 1957) is a German Protestant pastor. From 2011 to 2014, he served as theological director of the Graf Recke Foundation in Düsseldorf. Before that, he worked, among other roles, as a hospital chaplain and parish pastor, and led pastoral care at a hospice at an evangelical hospital. He also served for four years as superintendent of the Evangelical Church District of Düsseldorf. In 2014, he became president of Diakonie Deutschland and deputy chair of the Evangelisches Werk für Diakonie und Entwicklung.
