Ulrich Hefner

Ulrich Hefner, born in 1961 in Bad Mergentheim, is a German police officer, journalist, and author. He is known in part for his multi-volume crime series featuring investigator Martin Trevisan. Under the pseudonym Max Zorn, he also published thrillers and crime novels featuring investigator Vito Falk. Hefner received the ZDF eScript Literature Prize in 2002. According to publisher biographies, his enthusiasm for the North Sea dates back to childhood and has influenced the settings of some of his crime novels.
