Ulrich Baer

Ulrich Baer (born 1966) is a literary scholar and author. He taught German literature and comparative literature at New York University. His publications include Das Rilke-Alphabet (2006), Beggar’s Chicken: Stories from Shanghai (2012), and The Poet’s Guide to Life: The Wisdom of Rilke.
