Ulinka Rublack

Ulinka Rublack (born 1967) studied in Hamburg and Cambridge. In 1996, she began teaching early modern European history at St John’s College, Cambridge. She was one of the founders of the Cambridge Centre for Gender Studies. Her research has focused on gender history, the history of materiality, and cultural identity. Her publications include “Magd, Metz’ oder Mörderin. Frauen vor frühneuzeitlichen Gerichten” (1998), “Die Reformation in Europa” (2003), and “Dressing Up: Cultural Identity in Renaissance Europa” (2010). In 2019, she received the Historisches Kolleg Award.
