Ulf Diederichs

Ulf Diederichs (1937–2014) was a German author, editor, and publisher. The grandson of publisher Eugen Diederichs, he headed the Eugen Diederichs Verlag from 1973 to 1988. He subsequently worked as a freelance author and researcher of folktales. He edited numerous anthologies and focused particularly on international folktales, Indian and Chinese folk literature, and Eastern philosophy. His publications included Who’s Who in Folktales and an edition of the Old Yiddish Ma’assebuch.
