Tupoka Ogette

Tupoka Ogette, born in Leipzig in 1980, studied African Studies and German as a Foreign Language at Leipzig University and International Business at the Graduate School of Grenoble. From 2012 onward, she worked as a consultant and trainer specializing in critical approaches to racism and antidiscrimination. Her work included leading workshops and training courses, advising teams and organizations, and speaking publicly. She is particularly known for her handbook »exit RACISM. Rassismuskritisch denken lernen« (2017), which became a Spiegel bestseller. In 2019, Edition F named her one of the 25 most influential women of the year. Her other books include »Und jetzt du. Rassismuskritisch leben« and »Tag für Tag aktiv gegen Rassismus«.
