Tristan Gooley (born 1973) is the author of several books about natural navigation and observing the natural world. His works have included New York Times and Sunday Times bestsellers. He spent more than ten years studying natural navigation and applying its methods during adventure travel and mountaineering. He also crossed the Atlantic both as a solo pilot and as a single-handed sailor.
