Trevanian

Trevanian was the pseudonym of American writer Rodney William Whitaker (1931–2005). His thriller debut, “Im Auftrag des Drachen,” attracted considerable attention. One of his best-known novels is “Shibumi,” whose publication also fueled speculation about the identity behind the pseudonym. Under the name Trevanian, Whitaker published novels spanning several genres.
