Tove Soiland

Tove Soiland has taught at various universities in the German-speaking world. Her academic work focuses on Lacanian Marxism. In 2008, she received her doctorate with a dissertation on Luce Irigaray’s thinking on sexual difference. In 2003, she initiated the so-called “gender debate,” a controversy concerning the theoretical foundations of the concept of gender.
