Tony Iommi

Tony Iommi, born in Birmingham in 1948, is a guitarist and a founding member of the rock band Black Sabbath, which he joined in 1969. He developed a distinctive guitar style after losing the tips of two fingers in a workplace accident and replacing them with prostheses. He also played in the band Heaven and Hell for a time. In 2000, he released his first solo album, “Iommi”.
