Tommy Jaud

Tommy Jaud is a German writer, satirist and screenwriter. His debut novel, »Vollidiot«, reached number one on the bestseller lists in 2004. His other novels include »Resturlaub«, »Millionär«, »Hummeldumm« and »Überman«, the concluding volume of his Simon Peters series. »Hummeldumm« was the bestselling book of the year in 2010; the film adaptations of »Vollidiot« and »Resturlaub« attracted nearly two million viewers in total. In 2009, Jaud received the German Comedy Award for his screenplay for the television comedy »Zwei Weihnachtsmänner«. He has also published the advice-book parody »Einen Scheiß muss ich«, »Der Löwe büllt«, and the story collections »Komm zu nix« and »Man müsste mal«.
