Tom Robbins

Tom Robbins (born 1932) is an American writer. During the Korean War, he served in the U.S. Air Force and taught meteorology. He later studied art, music, and religion and worked as a reporter for several newspapers. His first novel, “Another Roadside Attraction” (“Ein Platz für Hot Dogs”), was published in 1971. His best-known works include “Still Life with Woodpecker” (“Buntspecht”), “Jitterbug Perfume” (“PanAroma”), and “Even Cowgirls Get the Blues” (“Sissy – Schicksalsjahre einer Tramperin”).
