Tom McCarthy

Tom McCarthy (born 1969) is a writer and artist. He has published novels, short stories and essays that have been translated into numerous languages and adapted for film, theatre and radio. His first novel, “8½ Millionen,” received the 2008 Believer Book Award. “C” (2010) and “Satin Island” (2015) were shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize. Among other distinctions, McCarthy received the inaugural Windham-Campbell Literature Prize.
