Tom Kummer

Tom Kummer (born 1961 in Bern) is a Swiss author and journalist. In 1988 he became a reporter for the magazine Tempo; from 1993 onward, he worked as a correspondent and freelance writer for publications including Süddeutsche Zeitung, Tages-Anzeiger Magazin, Die Zeit, Der Spiegel, and NZZ. In 2000, fictional interviews with Hollywood personalities caused a media scandal. His books include Good Morning, Los Angeles (1997), Blow Up (2007), Nina & Tom (2017), and Von Schlechten Eltern (2020), which was shortlisted for the Swiss Book Prize.
