Timothy Keller

Timothy Keller (1950–2023) was an American theologian, author, and church founder. He taught practical theology at several universities and, in 1989, founded Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City with his wife, Kathy. Keller also served as chairman of the Redeemer City to City network and was a co-founder of The Gospel Coalition. His best-known books include “The Reason for God,” “Jesus the King,” “Walking with God through Pain and Suffering,” “Hope in Times of Fear,” and “On Death.” “The Reason for God” became a New York Times bestseller. Keller and his wife had three sons.
