Tim Svart was born in September 1976 and began writing stories about ghosts and vampires during his school years. He contributed to the screenplay of a vampire musical and directed the production. His first novel, “Das Schloss,” is a horror thriller; its audio adaptation was released as episode 9 of the “Dark Mysteries” series. His Lovecraft homage “Musik der Finsternis” was nominated for the VINCENT PRIZE for best German-language horror or mystery short story. His other publications include the crime series featuring investigators Karre and Viktoria, comprising “Damenopfer,” “Trauerspiel,” “Todesschmerz,” and “Blutschuld,” as well as the children’s book “Professor Pitteprok und die sagenhafte Puderzuckerwindmaschine.”
