Tim Mohr

Tim Mohr is an American author, journalist and translator. In the 1990s, he worked as a club DJ in Berlin before moving to New York, where he worked for Playboy. His journalism appeared in publications including The New York Times, New York Magazine, Time Out and The Huffington Post. He has translated German-language works into English, including Wolfgang Herrndorf’s “Tschick,” Charlotte Roche’s “Wetlands,” four novels by Alina Bronsky and Dorothea Dieckmann’s “Guantanamo.” As a ghostwriter, he wrote memoirs by Duff McKagan, Gil Scott-Heron and Paul Stanley. He also worked with Hunter S. Thompson on “Ancient Gonzo Wisdom.”
