Tim Jackson

Tim Jackson is a British economist and sustainability researcher. He was Professor of Sustainable Development at the University of Surrey and directed the Sustainable Lifestyles Research Group from 2010 to 2014. For more than three decades, he examined the moral, economic and social dimensions of prosperity on a finite planet. He is best known for his book *Prosperity Without Growth* (2011), which was named Book of the Year by the *Financial Times*. Jackson also worked as an award-winning playwright and wrote numerous radio contributions for the BBC.
