Tim Farin

Tim Farin, born in 1976 in Troisdorf, is a German journalist and author. He studied political science at the University of Hamburg and trained as an editor at the German School of Journalism in Munich. In 2005, he began working as a freelance journalist covering cycling as well as sports and health topics; his outlets included the road-cycling magazine TOUR. Farin has published several books on cycling and co-wrote professional cyclist André Greipel’s autobiography, Aus dem Windschatten. A passionate road cyclist himself, he has taken part in numerous long-distance and amateur cycling events.
