Tibor Rode was born in Hamburg in 1974. He studied law and began his career as a journalist before working as legal counsel for a major daily newspaper and later as a lawyer and notary. Rode writes thrillers combining scientific subjects and ethical questions with suspense. His novels include the SPIEGEL bestsellers *Der Wald* and *Lupus*, as well as *Animal*, his third thriller. His works have been published in numerous countries.
