Thorsten Schleif

Thorsten Schleif (born 1980) studied law in Bonn and began serving as a judge in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia in 2007. He worked at the Regional Court of Düsseldorf and in the administration of the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf; from 2014 to 2018 or 2019, he was the sole remand judge for the district courts of Dinslaken and Wesel. Schleif published the nonfiction books »Urteil: ungerecht« (2019) and »Endlich richtig entscheiden« (2020). »Richter morden besser« was his first novel. It was followed by a humorous crime series featuring Judge Siggi Buckmann and by the historical thriller »Killing Red Jack«.
