Thor v. Waldstein

Thor v. Waldstein (born 1959 in Mannheim) studied law, history, philosophy, political science and sociology at the universities of Munich, Mannheim and Heidelberg. In 1989, he received a doctorate in sociology from Ruhr University Bochum under Bernard Willms; in 1992, he earned a doctorate in law from the University of Mannheim. From 1989 onward, he worked as a lawyer and publicist. His publications include The Spoils Value of the State: Carl Schmitt and Pluralism, a study based on his dissertation and published in 2008.
