Thomas Sattelberger (born 1949) is a business economist who worked as a manager and executive from 1975 to 2012 at companies including Daimler-Benz, Lufthansa, Continental and Deutsche Telekom. At Continental and Deutsche Telekom, he served on the executive board with responsibility for human resources. From 2017 to 2022, he was a member of the German Bundestag for the Free Democratic Party (FDP); until June 2022, he was Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. Sattelberger advocated, among other things, a women’s quota in Deutsche Telekom’s management and diversity management. His publications include “Die Lernende Organisation,” “Das demokratische Unternehmen” and “Ich halte nicht die Klappe. Mein Leben als Überzeugungstäter in der Chefetage.”
