Thomas Rydahl

Thomas Rydahl (born 1974 in Aarhus) is a Danish author. He studied philosophy and psychology, graduated from the Danish Writers’ Academy, and is trained as a firefighter. He published a short-story collection in 1999. His first novel, *The Hermit*, appeared in 2014, was sold in 15 countries, and received the BogForum Debutant Award. In 2015, Rydahl won the Glasnøglen (Glass Key), awarded for the best Scandinavian crime novel of the year. His subsequent novels have also been published internationally, and their film and television rights have been sold.
