Thomas Rauschenbach

Thomas Rauschenbach (born 1952) is a German social pedagogue and professor of social pedagogy at TU Dortmund University. His professional positions include leading the German Youth Institute, where he served as chair of the executive board and director from 2002 onward. His areas of focus include education in childhood and adolescence, work with children and young people, all-day schools, social professions, volunteering and voluntary service, and theories of social work.
